Today, comrades, I would like to speak to you concerning Our Leader and His Infinite Technicality.
(Starts at 2:40:49)
At this time of year, we remember the degree to which The Party insists that your appreciation for this Technicality dominate your families, lives, income, and spare time.
What, then, is the Infinite Technicality? It is a series of tortures, which culminated in the murder of The Son of Our Leader. The Son underwent The Technicality in order to convince Our Leader not to kill and torture us all. Praise be to the mercy of The Leader and His Son.
Guilty of death and torture as each one of you are, how can we call it just for The Leader to torture and kill his son and not all of you? (yet) Perhaps an analogy may help you to appreciate this good news:
“Suppose you were walking by my house one day. You had been walking by for a long time, and I came out on my porch and said ‘Hey, stop! I’ve got some good news! Good news for you people. Stop! Stop! You don’t have to go down in my basement. This is great news . . . You’ve been ignoring me. It has made me so angry and so mad . . . so I built this torture chamber down in the basement . . . But, you don’t have to go down there! I sent my son down there, and it was gruesome. Let me tell you, it was really horrible, but that satisfied my anger, and now his blood was shed and now you are free! You don’t have to go down there! All you have to do is just come up here. Tell my son that you love him and hug him and then you can move in with us . . . Won’t that be great?”
Now we see that, although The Leader’s desire to torture you is legitimate, his decision to torture and kill His Son instead has sated his anger. This is how His mercy and justice are both fulfilled.
Now there are some among you, even some you may love, who still feel threatened by and terrified of the prospect of The Leader’s desire to torture and kill them. Since The Son fulfilled this desire, we may ask: Why are some still frightened?
Perhaps The Leader has mercifully kept this burden of fear on us as warning. A spiritual stop sign of sorts, that at least for a time cries out when additional temptations to resist the rulings of The Party confront us ‘Don’t go down that road! You know the pain it can bring.’ In this sense it serves as a protection, not a punishment.
In the name of the The Great Leader, so let it be.
